About This Package
Travelling alone to Lourdes does not mean travelling without companions. The Solo Pilgrim's Journey is designed precisely for the pilgrim who sets out independently but wants the warmth, security and fellowship of a small, carefully curated group. With a maximum of 16 participants and no single-room supplement, this programme ensures space for personal prayer while never feeling isolated. Our experienced pilgrim leader weaves together people from different backgrounds into a genuine community of faith — one you will carry home long after leaving Lourdes.

Day-by-Day Itinerary
Arrival & First Welcome
Transfer to your hotel and meet your fellow pilgrims at the welcome dinner. Your pilgrim leader introduces the programme and leads an opening prayer. Together you walk to the Esplanade for the Torchlight Marian Procession at 21:00 — carrying your first candle beside people who often become lifelong friends.
Grotto, Baths & Shared Prayer
Morning Mass at the Grotto of Massabielle. The group visits the sacred Baths together — waiting in companionable silence, supporting one another through this intensely personal experience. Afternoon free for personal prayer. Evening: group rosary in the Rosary Garden followed by shared dinner.
Basilicas & Way of the Cross
Guided tour of the Upper and Lower Basilicas. Afternoon group Way of the Cross on the hillside, with brief shared reflections at each station led by the pilgrim leader. Evening International Candlelight Procession.
Bernadette's Lourdes & Blessing of the Sick
Morning walking tour of the old town — the Cachot, Boly Mill and baptismal church. Afternoon Blessing of the Sick ceremony. Evening farewell dinner: each pilgrim shares what Lourdes has meant to them.
Final Mass & Departure
Morning Mass of thanksgiving at the Grotto. Free time to fill water bottles at the spring taps or make final visits. Transfer to airport or station — with new friends, new memories and renewed faith.
