About This Package
The Retreat & Renewal programme is designed for pilgrims who want to slow down, spend extended time in prayer and receive individual spiritual accompaniment. Over seven days, mornings are devoted to communal liturgy and the Sacraments, while afternoons offer guided retreats, lectio divina sessions and ample personal time at the Grotto. This is a journey inward as much as it is outward.

Day-by-Day Itinerary
Arrival & Opening Mass
Arrive in Lourdes, settle in and join the community for an opening Mass of intention. Evening introductory session with your spiritual director.
Grotto & Lectio Divina
Morning Grotto prayer time. Introduction to lectio divina, meditative scripture reading. Afternoon visit to the Baths. Evening Torchlight Procession.
Basilicas & Sacrament of Reconciliation
Tour of the Upper and Lower Basilicas. Opportunity for the Sacrament of Reconciliation with English-speaking priests. Afternoon free meditation at the Rosary Garden.
Way of the Cross & Silent Morning
Silent morning prayer at the Grotto from 7:00–09:00. After breakfast, prayerful walk of the hillside Stations of the Cross. Afternoon group sharing and reflection.
Healing Service & Pyrenees Excursion
Morning Blessing of the Sick ceremony. Afternoon optional excursion to the Pyrenees foothills or Pic du Jer for panoramic views and mountain air.
Personal Pilgrimage Day
Full free day to revisit favourite spots, attend additional Masses, take the Baths again, or simply sit by the Gave river in contemplation. Evening farewell dinner with the group.
Closing Mass & Departure
Final Mass of thanksgiving at the Grotto. Transfer to airport or station.
