About This Route
Not all pilgrims can walk hundreds of kilometres to reach Lourdes, but within the Sanctuary itself, a richly symbolic walking circuit connects every major site. This 6 km guided route begins at the Esplanade, descends to the Grotto, continues to the Baths, climbs the hillside Way of the Cross, loops through the Rosary Garden and concludes with a panoramic view from the Upper Basilica forecourt. Our guided version includes reflections and prayers at each station.
